DANCE PRODUCTION
The Huntington Beach Academy for the Performing Arts (HB APA) will close out its season with a thought-provoking showcase of movement sure to captivate audiences and lovers of dance in the spring performance titled “SYN*ER*GY 2023”. According to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary, Synergy (sin·er·jee) is a noun and defined as, “1. Combined action or operation 2. A mutually advantageous conjunction or compatibility of distinct participants”. HB APA defines it as “ 3. “Synergy 2023 promises to carry on the legacy of delivering mesmerizing dance performances to the HB community. With 16 dances on the program, there is something for everyone. Don’t miss your last chance to see the internationally recognized APA Dance Company perform some of their signature 22/23 works, including “Miss Honey” by our very own Trevyn and “Origins” by APA Dance Alumni and professional New York based dancer, Destany Churchwell. You will also have the opportunity to visit the APA Dance Company Lobby Installation, where the dancers will debut their individual websites, and display their dance social media.” - Marie Hoffman, Chair APA Dance Department
