HBUHSD Board of Trustees receives arts award from OCDE

The Huntington Beach Union High School District Board of Trustees was presented the “OC Arts Education Advocate” award on Thursday, May 9, at the 2019 Orange County Music and Arts Educators Awards Ceremony. The event was held by the Orange County Department of Education in conjunction with Orange County Music and Arts Administrators.
The HBUHSD Board of Trustees listed Duane Dishno, Ed.D.; Susan Henry; Dr. Michael Simons; Dr. Bonnie Castrey; and Diana Carey as recipients. The ceremony was held in the Samueli Theater at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts.
