Do you have tickets to an APA show this year?
As always, we are grateful for your support of the arts and our amazing students, who more than anything wish they were performing these shows for you and finishing out their season, but due to COVID-19 restrictions, district campuses and venues are closed until further notice.
Here is our problem, and how you can potentially help:
Our productions of Beauty and the Beast and Alice in Wonderland were stopped at the very last minute, after the productions were complete, sets built, costumes rented, auxiliary staff paid, etc. We are always working on slim margins to create professional quality productions for our audience as well as professional opportunities for students.
Please see the above graphic for our breakdown of expenses.
In other words, the money it took to bring these shows to the stage has already been spent. So, we have some options for those of you wonderful ticket holders:
Didn’t buy tickets but you still want to help APA?
Maybe you are in a position where you would like help. You could do so by making a TAX DEDUCTIBLE DONATION that would go 100% to support the APA program, to the EEFA Foundation (tax ID #45-1450071, Educational Enrichment Foundation for the Arts). Here is EEFA’s website with their PayPal Giving Link: eefa4arts.org.
You can also mail check donations directly: EEFA - 1905 Main St, Huntington Beach, CA 92648.
Again, we cannot thank you enough for your support of our programs and our students. We hope to be back on track with our productions as soon as possible, and will keep you all up to date on any other developments in regards to our upcoming events.
