APA Finds Success at 2022 MACY Awards!

Congratulations to APA’s Musical Theatre and Technical Theatre departments for their enormous success at the Spirit of the MACY Awards Show!
Award Recipients:
Golden Age Musical Award - “The Pajama Game”
Best Supporting Actor - Nick Daniel
Best Actor - Sean Kato for his roles as Frederick Barrett in “Titanic” and Sid Sorokin in “The Pajama Game” (and Jimmy Award Nominee for New York Jimmy Awards at the Minskoff Theater on Broadway)
Best Actress - Payton Moore for her role as Gladys in “The Pajama Game” (and Jimmy Award Nominee for New York Jimmy Awards at the Minskoff Theater on Broadway)
Both Payton Moore and Sean Kato were asked to perform at the end of the ceremony and brought the house down with “Jenny’s Blues” and “Barrett’s Song.”
