APA Pop Music Summer Camp
Rising 7th-11th Grade Students | July 8-19th, 2024: 10 Sessions! | Monday-Friday, 1:00 PM-4:00 PM

APA’s Pop Camp is a fun-filled, jam-packed, musical summer camp experience for rising 7th grade through rising 11th grade students. Our goal is to equip your student with the tools and knowledge to be a better, more well-rounded performer.
Our staff of professional musicians is ready to guide your student through the fundamentals of voice, guitar, bass, drums, keys, as well as songwriting and ear-training. Your student will emerge with a new set of music skills and confidence-building strategies that will prepare them for any live music scene, or even the beginnings of a professional music career.

One intensive can make all the difference. Join APA Dance faculty and renowned guest choreographers for a summer dance experience guaranteed to boost your dancer’s skills. Students will study modern, contemporary, ballet, jazz, aerial, tap and hip-hop styles.

APA Kids & APA Jr!
July 8 – July 19, 2024, 8:45 am – 12:30 pm, Monday – Friday | Showcase Performance: July 19, 2024
July 22 – August 2, 2024, 8:45 am – 12:30 pm, Monday – Friday | Showcase Performance: August 2, 2024
Students will participate in a program of arts-education designed for each age group to enhance self-esteem, build bridges among diverse groups, and broaden their creative skills. They will experience the arts through active participation in art, music, dance and acting conducted at the newly renovated visual and performing arts facilities at Huntington Beach High School. Camp culminates in a showcase performance and mini art show on the last day.
